Platinum Powerboats (“Platinum,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website and not to our pages on third-party platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube, which are governed by those platforms’ own policies.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit our contact form or the “Build Your Platinum” configurator, we receive the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any build preferences you selected.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information for security and to keep the site running.
• Accessibility preferences. If you use the accessibility toolbar, your display preferences are stored in your own browser (local storage) and are never transmitted to us.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this site (for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and roughly where they are located). Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data, including a truncated IP address, in accordance with Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We have enabled IP anonymization and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. You can prevent this collection by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. We do not use advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, discuss your build, provide customer service, and keep records of our communications with you. We use technical log information to secure and maintain the website.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website — such as our hosting and form-processing provider, Netlify, and our analytics provider, Google — and as required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Embedded content

This site embeds video from YouTube using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set advertising cookies unless you play the video. Playing an embedded video is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Links to our social media pages take you to platforms with their own privacy practices.

Data retention

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, after which they may be deleted.

Your choices and rights

Children
