Factory Stock Class
Platinum 428 R
The same clean-sheet carbon catamaran — canopied, caged and built to Factory Stock class specification for offshore competition.
Born Racing
Designed for the class
from day one
Most raceboats are pleasure hulls adapted for competition. The 428 was engineered from the first CAD surface to work both ways: an open-cockpit pleasure cat, or a canopied Factory Stock raceboat running class-spec twin 500-hp Mercury Racing outboards.
The first 428 R was commissioned by UK racer Rob Lockyer for the Good Boy Vodka offshore team, with Lockyer himself on the throttles. It made its public debut at the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run in Clayton, New York in July 2026.
“It was obvious they have a massive amount of integrity… I’ve never had a more pleasant experience building a boat, and I’ve built a ton of boats over the years. Their quality is second to none.”
